Avgoustina Triarou is a dance artist and choreographer from Cyprus that graduated from the University of Nicosia (BA Dance, 2017-2021). During her studies she participated in the Erasmus+ mobility program, doing an Erasmus exchange with the National Academy of Dance in Rome where she was also involved in the Dance Project and performance “HIIT-Eyas”, directed and choreographed by Carlos Gonzales and Seth Buckley. For the past years she has been involved in works as a performer and creator. During 2020 and 2021 she co-created and performed with the team Kores two choreographic works titled “ProsopArmozo” and “Out of data” for festivals in Cyprus. In 2021 she had an internship with “Konin Dance Theatre” in Poland as a performer and choreographer. In 2022 she attended the International Contemporary Dance program through Erasmus+ Internship at Nuova Officina Della Danza in Turin where she also choreographed a piece for Nod students. She also participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program in Sweden, Viksjofors named “Dance more” representing Cyprus and took part in the Next Generation LAB with the choreographer Jill Crovisier (Project of the ASSITEJ SMALL COUNTRIES NETWORK) in Liechtenstein. In 2023 she attended the MA in Choreography in the Theatre Academy of Uniarts Helsinki and took part in NCP (Nordic Choreographic Platform) in Copenhagen and Oslo.
